ExciteMike.com - Things by Mike Meyer

Glorious Trainwrecks is pretty much my favorite site on the whole internet. It encourages anyone and everyone to make games, any kind of games, and to disregard concerns about quality, rules, good design, conventions or anything else that comes between you and making something. It's not perfect, but it seems to be the single most welcoming online game-making community there is.

They hold regular events, and thousands of games have been uploaded. With so many games, a tool to make it easier to browse, download, and launch them all is quite handy! So I made GLORIOUS TRAINWRECKS DOT EXE!

It lets you browse and play the games without having to take care of downloading, extracting, and launching games yourself!

Have a beer on me.</comment> <comment name="Kieran" url="" date="September 8th, 2012 at 8:05 pm" >This looks great, but it immediately crashes when I try and run it. I'm on an ASUS 1000HE netbook running Windows XP. When I open it, I hear the error thud sound and then I get a notification to say that the program has stopped responding.

After the error, GloriousTrainwrecks.exe.log reads as follows:

Traceback (most recent call last):

 File "boot.py", line 90, in <module>

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'data\\glotralauncher'

Help would be great!</comment> <comment name="Spram" url="" date="September 10th, 2012 at 4:00 pm" >How does this work. Sounds too simple.. too easy.. WITCHCRAFT?</comment> <comment name="thecatamites" url="" date="September 14th, 2012 at 3:25 pm" >this is really wonderful :0</comment>
